Proposed Zoning Articles for Fall 2010 Town Meeting
Potential Zoning Amendments for Fall 2010 Town Meeting
The Planning Board, at its meeting of July 26, 2010, initiated two proposed zoning articles for the October 12, 2010 Special Town Meeting. The Board will hold its first public hearing on the articles on August 19th, 2010 in Room C at Town Hall at 8:20 p.m.
Below is a brief description of each zoning article. Click on the article to see the proposed language in full.

1. Conversion of Accessory Structures into Residential Dwellings (Article):
Amend the Protective Zoning Bylaw of the Town of Ipswich as follows: modify Section V, Table of Use Regulations, by deleting footnote 23, revising footnote 18 to reference a new section IX.P., and applying footnote 18 to the use “multi-family dwelling”; and revise Section IX. by adding a new subsection “P.” entitled “Conversion of Accessory Building into Residential Unit”, which further defines the standards for such conversions that are currently provided in footnote 23.
