The online catalog enables you
to search for items, access your patron account, renew items, and place
requests for items.
How do I search an item? There are several ways of searching the online
catalog. You may do a basic, advanced, or format-based
search or choose to browse the catalog using “Starts With …” Basic -- search by general, author, and/or
title keyword. Advanced -- performs
Boolean searching by various keywords and limit by format, language
and/or location. Sorts
your search by author, title, media type, or publication date. Format-based -- choose to
search by item format such as music CDs, DVDs, videos, audio-books
only. Starts with -- choose the
list you wish to browse from the drop-down menu and enter a word or
phrase as directed. To view copy or holding information, you may
click on the thumb-nail image of the item cover that appears to the
left of the brief record or on the title itself. Scroll down to see
location, call number, collection/item type and status of the item. Use

version of our online catalog. How can I view my patron account? Your user account (called "My Account")
is a collection of information specific to you. It includes your user
profile, items you have currently checked out, the status of any holds
you have placed or hold requests that are pending, fines or other
blocks to your library account, and any saved lists. To keep your
information private, only you and your library can access your account
with your Personal Identification Number (PIN). To view your account:
