2014 Special Town Meeting Warrant

The 2014 Special Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center.
Ad Hoc School Audit Committee Meeting Invitation
The Ad Hoc School Audit Committee invites the public to attend the meeting on Thursday October 23rd at 6:45 PM in the High School Music Ensemble Room. Meeting Room A at Town Hall is being used by the Planning Board. The meeting will be televised by ICAM. The committee is scheduled to interview the two vendors that submitted proposals.
Facts about Ebola
You can only get Ebola from:
· Touching the blood or bodily fluids of a person who is sick with or has died of Ebola
· Touching contaminated objects, like needles.
· Touching infected animals, their blood or other bodily fluids, or their meat
There are no confirmed cases of Ebola in Massachusetts. The outbreak in West Africa is currently limited to Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. In order to be considered to possibly have Ebola, a person must have recently traveled to Guinea, Liberia, or Sierra Leone and/or been in contact with a person who is sick with Ebola and shown symptoms of Ebola.
Ipswich Influenza (Flu) Vaccine Clinic
The Ipswich Board of Health has scheduled its flu vaccine clinic for Friday, October 31, 2014 from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM at the Council on Aging Cafeteria, Town Hall, 25 Green Street, Ipswich. The influenza vaccine is available to individuals over 50 years of age, pregnant women and individuals 19 years of age and older with chronic medical conditions. The vaccine is free of charge but please remember to bring your insurance cards. Wear clothes with short or loose fitting sleeves to the clinic. If you have any questions, call the Public Health Office at 978-356-6606.

Voter Registration_Special Town Meeting
Friday, October 10, 2014, is the last day to register to vote for the Special Town Meeting. The Town Clerk's Office will be open from 8 am until 8 pm on that date for anyone wishing to register to vote or to change party. Residents may also register to vote prior to October 10th during regular business hours or by US mail. Mail in registration forms may be downloaded from the Town Clerk's webpage under the category "Voter Registration. If one is already registered to vote there is no need to register again.
